Google最近推出了一個名為 Friend Connect的新計劃，Ingrid Michaelson的網站是其中一個示範網站。

一進入她的網站，吸引港生的不是那個看似普通留言的Google新功能，而是上面那首有著清新的旋律、言簡意賅的歌詞的 The Way I Am。除了The Way I Am外，Breakable和Keep Breathing也很不錯。

Ingrid成名的故事，在她的唱片公司 Original Signal Recordings的網站裏有頗詳細的介紹，想看中文的可以看看這裏，在此不贅。

至於Friend Connect，港生沒有甚麼想說，因為港生總認為無論在網上世界如何交遊廣闊，互聯網技術如何一日千里，始終那也只是一種工具、一條渠道，一切還看如何和現實生活接軌 (或許這種想法比較落後，但好聽點也可說是沒有那麼頭腦發熱)。唯一令港生印象深刻的，是蘋果日報那麼快便有頗大篇幅的報導 (這裏和這裏)，論點是否正確就無謂討論了，但看來香港社會也真的日益重視網上的新技術，不再是那麼固步自封。

無論如何，還是要多謝 Google的無心/有心插柳。
